Meet Rocky!
Rocky is a lively and fun-loving pup with just the right mix of energy and independence. He walks well on a leash and has a medium energy level, making him a great companion for both playtime and relaxed strolls.
This silly and playful boy has a knack for bringing smiles, though he can be a little jumpy when he's excited. Rocky shows polite interest in people and seems to be independent enough to enjoy his own space. His calm nature in the kennel hints he might even be kennel trained, but he’s always eager and ready to head outside for some fun.

On 12/21/24 Rocky met a couple other dogs. He was tense with introductions (hackles raised), but tolerated other dogs greeting him. He mostly kept to himself, but seemed to give and take correction appropriately. He showed some interest in play, but was unsure how to go about it.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• 21 years of age • Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.
