My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey is as sweet as her name suggests! This mama came in with her 7 kittens, but is ready to go into a home of her own where she can be the star.

This girl loves affection and food equally. She is looking for someone who will give her lots of snuggles and scratches, and in return, she will give you her heart. Her nature is extremely gentle.

When left alone, Honey is happy to curl into a ball and sleep, awaiting your return!

If you are interested in giving Honey her forever home, feel free to fill out an adoption application and come meet Honey during our open hours, every day 12-4pm.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
