My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuko is a very sweet Boy. He is one years old and has had a rough start to life. He was left at the Delta shelter last May. Roice Hurst has taken great care of him getting him vaccinated and neutered. Zuko is still looking for his forever home. He can be shy at first and is fearful of men, but warms up quickly. He loves other dogs, we think he'd be okay with cats and would do best with older kids. Looking for a loving, patient owner that can help him build his confidence. Come meet this special boy, Zuko!

More about this shelter

SCAS was founded in 2001 and worked with the Town of Cedaredge to provide an adoption guaranteed animal shelter through 2010. In 2011 SCAS took over the operations of the shelter. Cedaredge has about 2000 residents. Volunteers walk the dogs daily and spend time cuddling the cats. We have a foster kitten program to keep kittens healthy and cuddly. Often we have barn cats available when free roaming cats can't be tamed to household living. Our dogs come to us as strays and through relinquishment. They are often lively guys in need of love and manners!! We have 8 dog runs.
