This beautiful girl is Althia. She came to the shelter as a stray after wandering up to the home of the finder. She is such a sweet girl, but not too sure of the other cats here at the shelter.
If you are interested in meeting her and you have children, because she was a stray, we ask you to bring them here with you so we can be sure it is a good fit.

Sign Adoption Contract

We do not have applications our adoptions are first come, first serve.

Take the Pet Home

All available pets are spay/neutered and ready to go home immediately.

Additional adoption info

$100 Adoption Fee

Our adoption fee includes Spay/Neuter, heartworm/leukemia testing, initial vaccinations, deworming, flea preventive, micro chip, sample bag of food and various other services.

We take in animals that are brought in by Cherokee County Animal Control officers, animals owned by citizens of Cherokee County and unwanted strays found in Cherokee County. The Cherokee County Animal Shelter also adopts animals out to the public.
