What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Lucy/Lulu has been more of an emotional support dog for me since 2018. Each day keeping my mental health and activity level up.
But the past two years it has become very difficult for me because of decline in my physical and mental capacity; I can’t provide the support of her breed. Sadly, since August of 2024 we have been living in and out of a van or temp housing or camping. After much consideration for Lucy to find stability and exercise.
She was adopted in 2018 a formerly abused. But get along with others and pets. Lucy struggles with nervous anxiety and requires extreme empathy patience and affection. Her triggers are: separation and food anxiety, tall males in dark clothing, large luggage or boxes, the vet, public crowds and dog parks, fireworks, smoke detector alarms, loud noise.
She thrives from quiet space, cats, adolescent to young adults, active seniors. Possibly a remote single worker for outdoor play snuggles snacks and lots of naps! Thank You KIND SOUL in Advance!
