Tank is a handsome Great Dane puppy that was born 10.20.24. He is one of the biggest in his litter and also one of the laziest! He loves snuggles and playtime with his sister until he needs a nap! He really, really hates cold weather and would rather be inside and on his foster moms bed! He is truly a people pup and is content to hang out with the humans.
Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until his puppy cuteness wears off.
You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, he may chew on anything within his reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc.
His adoption fee is $400. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.

SASPCA Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and San Antonio Great Dane Rescue are 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue groups based in San Antonio, Texas.
Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year.
Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease.
All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
We also host additional adoption events throughout the year. Please visit our Facebook pages for the most current event schedules.
If your adoption application is approved and you are traveling from out-of-town, we hold your chosen pet for one hour past the event start time to allow for travel time.
We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.
Our puppies, purebred dogs, and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so we encourage interested parties to apply online.
