Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Patch from the NE Humane Society as a foster-to-adopt at 5 months old. He's a handsome, smart, goofy boy who loves food (especially pup cups), people, car rides, and a good strong chew toy. He plays well with other dogs at the dog park, but in a home with other dogs, he would do best with a friend his size or larger because he loves to roughhouse.
Two reasons I need to rehome Patch: He's happy to lounge around most of the day, but this big (and still growing!) guy needs space for zoomies. (Doing an Embark DNA test showed his shelter-listed breeds were incorrect.) Potty training has also been hard in my downtown apartment. He's not aware of his need to go in time for us to get down the stairs/elevator, across the building, and out to the nearest mulch or grass spot. He also can't help but eat the dirt/mulch where neighbor dogs have gone potty, which isn't healthy for him. Patch would do well in home with a fenced-in yard so he can run and become a potty-trained pro!
