Meet Axel
Age: 3.5 years old

Meet Axel, a charming and fluffy mix of who-knows-what! Axel is sweet, gentle, and incredibly friendly—he loves making friends with everyone he meets. He’s calm, smart, and curious, always happy to be part of the action.

Axel is house-trained and doesn’t cause trouble when left alone at home. He enjoys his walks but is still working on perfecting his leash skills. He gets along well with other dogs and cats and is currently in a foster home with another dog, a cat, and an 8-year-old child—he’s great with everyone!

With his low to medium energy, Axel loves attention and enjoys being petted and cuddled. Rescued by our partner organization, "Dogs on Road," in Batumi, Georgia, Axel has an incredible story. He was found injured under a bridge after being hit by a car and underwent surgery to repair a fractured pelvis. He’s now fully recovered and enjoys life at full speed—running, jumping, and loving every moment.

Axel is an easygoing and awesome dog who will make a fantastic companion for any family.

Note: Sochi Dogs Rescue works on a foster to adopt model. All of our adopters have a 1-week trial period to decide if the dog is the right match for you. Should you decide the adoption is not working out, you can notify us within the first week and we will coordinate a time to take the dog back into a foster home and issue a refund of the adoption fee minus $75.

Sochi Dogs Rescue works on a foster-to-adopt model. All of our adopters have a 1-week trial period to decide if the dog is the right match.

Sochi Dogs is a non-profit animal rescue that works closely with adopters to help them find the perfect addition to their families. All of our dogs are vetted, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Dog ownership is a long-term commitment so we take our adopters’ needs very seriously. We work on a foster to adopt basis, which allows adopters to get to know their new dog in a relaxed family setting.

For us, the most important things are finding the right family for the right dog. As long as it’s a good match we’re happy to adopt a dog out of state.
