Meet the Pet
This helps Adopt Korean Rescue - Vancouver with pet care costs.
Meet Ssari!
Ssari’s journey began when she was spotted wandering along a busy four-lane road in March 2024, around 5-6 months old. We couldn’t resist stepping in to bring her to safety, and now she’s ready to find her forever home!
When it comes to people, Ssari can be a little shy at first, but with a tasty treat, she quickly warms up and is happy to be petted. Occasionally, she’ll even approach and ask for affection right away, especially if she feels comfortable with someone from the start—this applies to men too! Ssari is gentle with children under 13 and handles interactions with them like a pro. She’s so trusting that she’ll even let you scoop her up by putting an arm under her belly.
Ssari is equally charming with other dogs. She’s naturally social and enjoys introducing herself to new canine friends. She’s especially friendly with dogs her size or larger and does her best to avoid conflict, even when provoked. Whether it’s playtime or just hanging out, Ssari fits in beautifully with most dogs.
On walks, Ssari is a delight. She’s calm and gentle, even when spotting cats, birds, or other animals. Her curiosity may draw her attention for a moment, but she’ll follow your lead without any fuss. While she hasn’t lived with cats before, her outdoor manners suggest she could adjust well with proper introductions.
With a moderate energy level, Ssari is the perfect balance of playful and relaxed. She loves outdoor activities but settles down quietly once she’s back inside. Her leash manners are impeccable—she doesn’t pull and stays close by. Though she might get startled by sudden noises or surprises, she recovers quickly and stays by your side.
Ssari is as easygoing as they come. She’s not protective over food, whether it’s with people or other dogs. If she’s feeling excited, she might express it with a few barks, but she’s otherwise a calm and well-behaved companion. She’s also crate-trained and incredibly comfortable traveling in one. As a bonus, she’s accustomed to doing her business outdoors.
Ready to welcome Ssari into your life? She’s a sweet, well-rounded pup with so much love to give!
