Malibu is a beautiful 4-year-old tortoiseshell cat with a heart full of resilience and love! Found as a stray, Malibu was suffering from hair loss due to a flea infestation, but she quickly proved her strength and ability to overcome challenges.

Not long after, Malibu surprised us all with a litter of three adorable kittens (all since adopted). Now, Malibu is ready for her own fresh start! She’s great with other cats and is eager to find a loving home where she can be spoiled and cherished.

Malibu is not yet spayed, but she’s ready for a life of comfort and happiness.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
