My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet 6-year-old Biewer Terrier is a pint-sized bundle of love, weighing in at just 8 lbs. Garth is the ultimate cuddle buddy and will happily spend hours snuggled up with you.

Garth gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home and would do best in a home with smaller dogs and older kids. His gentle and easygoing nature makes him a great fit for anyone looking for a loving, adaptable companion. He walks well on leash and is very close to being potty trained but does love his schedule to go outside. He loves playing with toys by himself or with his person.

Smart and eager to please, Garth is a quick learner who thrives on praise and—most importantly—treats (just make sure that they don’t contain chicken!).

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and playful new best friend, Garth might be your perfect match.

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile.

We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
