My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coconut, the dashing flame point Siamese kitten who will steal your heart! This charming boy is looking for a forever family where he can be the center of attention (and affection). With his striking pointed coat and bright blue eyes, he is sure to bring a touch of warmth to any room. Coconut loves people and is always eager to curl up in someones lap or snuggle into their arms. He is also quite playful and enjoys chasing toys around with his siblings. So if you are looking for a kitten who will shower you with love, he is your guy! Since Coconut loves the company of others, we recommend adopting him along with one or both of his siblings to ensure he gets the socialization and playtime he craves. Additional adoption info

Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

Go meet their pets

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. For additional information regarding how you, too, can become a foster, please see our fostering page located on our web site!

CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
