What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Nico is a wonderful cat. He is cuddly and calm. He loves attention and is very tolerant of young children picking him up and petting him. He doesn't get agressive (except when scared at the vet, the only place I've seen him seriously hiss) and is just very much loved. I want to see him in a good home with a family who will give him the love and attention he needs. Unfortunately, and the reason I can no longer keep him, when Nico gets stressed it comes out as some behavioral issues (peeing on a wall to mark territory), this has only happened a few times but is something that I can't remedy due to my job. He needs real stability (I move a lot) and someone who he can be assured will be coming home after a day of work. This also happens, we think, because of other pets in the house. Nico doesn't get stressed out by people, and he does well with other cats as long as he gets enough attention. However, he gets stressed out when he feels like he has to compete for space with other animals.
