Meet classy, elegant and precious DOLCE, DELINA and DIOR. These 3 beautiful & sweet little gals were abandon when their family moved away from their home. They are now with us at the shelter, getting lots of attention and giving us sweet puppy kisses. They should be good with cats, other dogs and children. We love watching them play, bounce around and play tug of war with their rope toys. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for playtime, exploring and the confidence to succeed with their housetraining. Come meet these beauties, you'll be swept of your feet.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

Go to hsnwga.org to apply for a dog or cat. Once approved you can meet the dog or cat at our shelter and take them home.

2.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption fees for dogs are $275 and up. All are age appropriately vetted and chipped.

3.
Take the Pet Home

Fridays: 3pm – 5pm
Saturdays: 11am – 2pm

During adoption hours we have volunteers available to show dogs and cats to the public. For safety/insurance reasons we can only allow those 12 years or older to go into the dog kennel wing of the shelter. We ask all visitors not to stick their fingers/hands into the dog kennels. Our adoptable dogs and cats are viewable through our website. Everyone interested in applying for a dog or cat must submit an application through our website. We receive multiple applications for each animal. Applications for particular animals are based on best fit for each animal based on each animal’s behaviors and needs. An application not being selected for a particular animal does not necessarily mean the application was denied, but just that another application was approved.

The mission of the Humane Society of Northwest Georgia is to reduce the number of healthy animals euthanized in Whitfield County through the continuation of our successful adoption program, aggressive spay/neuter program, promotion of responsible pet ownership and humane education.
