Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wolfie is looking for a new family who will be his forever home. He is a 3 year old Terrier mix (We are told Terrier, Boxer, Beagle... but we don't know for sure). Wolfie is a sweetheart who is out of sorts and extremely nervous and frightened at the shelter. He wants to be back in a home soon (he was owner surrendered). Wolfie's perfect home would probably be one without other dogs large than him, or at least maybe a submission laid back pup. He reportedly does well with smaller dogs and cats as well! Wolfie is NOT good with chickens/backyard flock and will go after them. He IS potty trained and is a good boy about keeping his kennel clean here as well. He has lived with older children. Wolfie reportedly has a tendency to roam when allowed... so he will need someone committed to leash walking or using appropriate tools like a sturdy tie out or secure fenced area to keep him confined and safe. This handsome boy is a unique looking wire-haired guy and approximately 50 lbs or so. His adoption fee is $150 and he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov, or stop by during normal business hours to meet him!
