My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Rain!

Rain is a sweet and gentle Catahoula mix with a calm and loving soul who came to us alongside nine other companions. Born around July 8, 2022, and weighing about 55 pounds, beautiful Rain is ready to leave her past behind and find a family to call her own.

Rain is friendly with other dogs and people, though she may be a little shy when meeting new faces. Once she warms up, her sweet and gentle personality shines through. She’s the perfect blend of quiet and affectionate—rarely barking and happiest when lounging on the couch by your side. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves to relax and enjoy life’s simple pleasures, Rain is the one for you.

Her adoption fee is $300, which includes her spay, negative heartworm test, up-to-date vaccines, and prevention (ProHeart and Bravecto). Rain is currently located in Texas but is eligible for transport to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), or anywhere along the East Coast. Please note there is an additional transport fee of $225, and we are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.

Rain is ready to be cherished as part of a loving family. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this sweet and snuggly girl, apply today at www.adoggie4you.org. Rain can’t wait to meet her forever family!

Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested
All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella, heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.

Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.

Our dogs are posted on our website. Generally they live at our facility located on a beautiful 100 acre ranch in Texas. We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dog. We pride ourselves in providing a complete and honest evaluation of each dog to ensure the best possible placement for both the dog and the adopter. We welcome your visit to our facility in Texas.
