Animal Profile: Cleo, Alexander and Mark Anthony were born in March of 2024 in the middle of nowhere, Oklahoma. Unfortunately, they were on a property tied to trees with only barrels for shelter in the sweltering heat. Our rescue partners at Furry Freight were alerted to their conditions and reached out to see if we could help and we had to say yes! Cleo was bitten by a Copperhead snake so she has a scar on her front leg, but she has a small scar as a mark of a survivor.
Foster Update: Cleo is a smart little girl that’s sweet and affectionate once she gets to know you. Cleo is naturally suspicious of strangers, but it doesn’t take her long to want to be friends. Cleo is house and crate trained, walks well on leash, and knows ‘place’ command. She has good basic obedience and was started on e collar training with Cortney of McMonson Training Center. Her adoption includes a session with Cortney. Cleo isn’t a fan of too many people coming and going; she prefers a more quiet adult only household. Cleo loves other dogs and would do well with or without another balanced dog in her forever home.
Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA guidelines, negative heartworm test, and microchip. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.
