My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snowy is a calm rabbit, with a confident demeanor who enjoys being around people and LOVES snacks. He seems unbothered by most things, and is an easy-going companion who just wants to be near to his family. His beautiful, white fur is silky soft, and everyone who has pet him comments on it!

He hasn’t been a lap bunny (yet!), but while being picked up isn’t his thing he’s still eager to spend time with his humans. He enjoys putting his front paws up on your knee while being fed leafy greens as his daily treats, or flopping next to you on the floor for pets after running around the room during playtime. He will often “boop” his foster mom with his nose for more pets.

He hasn’t been very destructive (doesn’t seem to spend much time chewing on tubes and toys, for example), but he LOVES using his snuffle mat for daily enrichment, and will eagerly hunt through the ruffles for treats if given the chance. He is very food motivated, and will even come careening into his foster’s hands while lowering his food dish, showering food all over the floor, so now she refills his dish in secret, while he’s out having floor time! When food is in sight he’ll act like you haven’t fed him for days.
Loves:
- any treats or snacks, especially leafy greens and the occasional apple slice or carrot
- gentle pets while on the floor
- exploring the room during floor time
- foraging in his snuffle mat
Dislikes:
- being picked up and held for very long
- having his “territory” (aka pen) invaded by his foster mom to change the litter box.
