Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Im a special pup with a heart full of love! My journey hasnt been easyI was hit by a car and found myself in a shelter during scorching +100F heat with a broken leg. Thankfully, the wonderful folks at Church of Pug rescued me! Ive had orthopedic surgery to fix my leg, and Im blossoming more each day in my foster home. I love all people and really love my new puggy friends, I prefer to be in the company of the other dogs and really want to snuggle with them. Its clear I was well cared for and loved before becoming a stray. I adore attention and absolutely love treats! Right now, Im on crate rest to heal my leg, enjoying the cool A/C with my fellow pugs and even some catstheyre pretty cool too. Ive also made friends with a neighbor kid who gives me treats and pets, which I happily accept! The kids all say i have a 'derpy" face since my tongue does usually stick out a bit. My foster mom is pretty sure I'm house trained , but hard to confirm since I have to stay in the crate except for potty breaks right now until my leg heals.

Additional adoption info
Thank you for your interest in adopting from Church of Pug.
Everyone at Church of Pug is a volunteer. We wear many hats - we foster pugs, travel to vet appointments, attend fundraising events, process a lot of paperwork, and more. We make every effort to respond to inquiries in a timely manner but often the days get away from us. For this reason, we will do our best to reach out to everyone. We’ll let you know your application has been received either through a phone call, text or email.
PLEASE take your time completing the below application and fill out questions in detail! This is the information our adoption team will use to make initial determinations when selecting applicants to proceed in the interview process as dogs become available and we begin the process of finding its forever family.
READ the information on each dog's biography page carefully. If you are interested in applying to adopt a dog, please ensure you meet the stated requirements. All of these dogs live with our foster families and that means we know their story -- we understand what they have been through and what they need in a forever home. All decisions are made with the dogs' best interests in mind.
