My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful girl was found dumped near the woods in a kennel. She is very sweet although a bit shy, but definitely wants to be loved! Shes not a huge fan of dogs, but doesn’t mind other cats. She spends her days lounging in her cat bed on her foster momma’s desk while she works. She’s calm and quiet and would do best in a home that is calm and quiet. She also thoroughly enjoys snuggling on soft blankets and unused pillows - you’ll find her on an empty bed napping at any given time. She loves nighttime snuggles as well and is an excellent biscuit maker!

We have an adoption application, we do require a vet reference and/or a home visit to make sure our animals are going to a home suited for their needs. We also require an adoption contract to be signed stating that they will care for the animal and if they can no longer keep the animal, they are required to give them back to Gigi's Rescue. Our adoption fee is $350 which covers all the vetting for each animal such as spay/neuter, all required vaccines, heartworm test, dental cleaning if necessary, deworming and the dogs are all kept on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative.

Gigi's Rescue is comprised of volunteers who foster the animals in their home and have personal knowledge of each dog and cat and their daily routines. Gigi has been involved in rescues since 2002 and has worked as a kennel worker at a boarding/grooming facility, kennel manager at a vets office and has driven for a professional animal transport for over 10 years.
