Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Rosie, the last puppy of her litter and an adorable 5-month-old Anatolian x English Mastiff mix. Currently up for adoption in Hannover, Pennsylvania, Rosie is ready to find her forever home. We adopt nationwide and have transport available.
Rosie’s foster mom has been taking her to Mason Dixon K9 weekly training classes, and she's excelling! She's potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. Rosie knows commands like place, come with a sit, heel, down, and stay. She even won the title for the longest stay in place (3 minutes!) in her puppy class.
Rosie does well with other dogs but tends to be more dominant. She has never met a cat, but she was raised with kids up until a month ago. She loves strangers and walks up to everyone in training with a wagging tail and prance.
This vocal girl is not suited for apartment living. Her breed mix loves the big outdoors, and she will run towards strange noises in the backyard barking—normal for this breed. When you tell her to stop, she comes running back happily.
Rosie has the cutest little sound like a whimper, cry, or purr when she’s settling in to sleep or when you pet her. She loves to cuddle on your lap but can also entertain herself. She's content spending time in the living room with everyone, chewing on an elk antler while the family watches TV. She had one instance of resource guarding a toy from a dog that was not living with her, but overall, she's a very well-rounded girl.
This cutie is off to a great start and will make an amazing family member. If you're looking for a loving and playful companion, Rosie is ready to bring joy and warmth into your home. Consider welcoming her into your family and experience the boundless love she has to offer.

More about this rescue
To rescue Great Danes from neglect, abuse, and abandonment while providing medical care and individual rehabilitation through our experienced and loving foster home program until we are able to provide each rescued Dane with a qualified, caring, and permanent home that will ensure a good quality of life they deserve.
To assist owners that cannot afford spaying, neutering or heartworm treatment as funds allow while also educating owners on affordable, local spay/neuter clinics, spay/neuter benefits, vaccinations, backyard breeding, behavior, nutrition, and obedience. Additionally, we want to be a link point to other rescues and clubs. Raising awareness around rescues and the Great Dane breed is of great importance to us.
We have been rescuing Great Danes since 2011 and we take pride in the collective love, concern, and dedication we have given to the misunderstood and forgotten Danes. It is our mission to continue to be the voices of the less fortunate Danes and to provide them safety and their birthright to a quality of life filled with love and dignity. You can help us achieve our mission by donating funds, items from our wishlist, items of relevance, your time through volunteering, or by lending your home as a foster.
