All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

The Mushroom puppies are a litter of 10 week old Maltese x Miniature Schnauzer mixes who are popping up ready to shower you in love! These puppies arrived at our rescue at only five days old with Mama Mushroom. They have been showered in all the love and affection a puppy could ever ask for and now that they’ve grown up, they are ready to head out and spread their adorable spores! This litter is 4 boys and 1 girl, each one cuter than the last. Mama is a small size dog, so we expect the puppies will be in the 12-16 pound range when they reach their adult weights. Enoki (M): Enoki is Mr. Mama’s Boy who loves cuddling with his people and watching the world go by at his feet. This sweet and gentle little boy is always ready to shower you in puppy kisses and gentle nudges. He adores helping his foster mom work from home as he snoozes the afternoons away on her lap as she works to bring home the bacon! As much as Enoki loves to snuggle, he’s also got a playful spirit which he showcases in his daily zoomies across the lawn. Enoki would be a dream puppy for anyone seeking a loving and affectionate companion. Want a buddy on a trip to the farmer’s market? He’s ready! Enoki just wants to spend his days by your side as you take on the world together and we can’t wait for his adventure to start!
Oyster (M): Oyster is a clever and outgoing puppy who is ready to take on the world with his lucky forever people! He has the spirit of the wild in his heart and loves playing with anyone who will romp around with him. His curiosity made him the first to exit the puppy pen and explore the backyard and his eagerness has only grown from there. Oyster loves being part of the action, so you’re likely to hear the little pitter patter of paws behind you as you go about your day. Once you stop, he’s ready to launch himself into your arms for kisses and snuggles! Oyster’s lively personality will make him a perfect addition to a family ready to tick off some bucket list items. Oyster will thrive where he can show you how rare he is, like the most magnificent pearl in the ocean!
Portobello (M): Portobello is an easygoing and snuggly boy who provides that quintessential ‘big bro’ energy to the chaos of his siblings’ antics. Bello loves a good nap and has a knack for finding the coziest nooks to tuck himself away in as his brothers wrestle around him. He also loves snacks and is often found trailing after his foster mom when she is in the kitchen in case she drops any tasty treats. While he loves to lounge, he also has a goofy side and loves zooming around the house with his toys (that are often larger than him). Bello would be an amazing addition to a family looking for a sweet and laid-back puppy who enjoys the tastiest things in life. We know that as soon as this gentleman snuggles up in your arms, you won’t remember a life without Mr. Mellow Portobello!
Shiitake (F): Shitake (affectionately known as Puffball) is an affectionate and outgoing puppy who keeps her brothers in line while still maintaining the regal air befitting the princess she is! Puffball loves to explore and experience the world outside her puppy pen and she can’t wait for her forever people to take her to get all the pup cups and dog treats! As the solo gal, Puffball knows how to get down and wrestle when she feels playful, but she’s also just as happy to poke her nose into the garden and sniff all the flowers she can. Don’t look at the muddy paw prints she tracks inside… it was one of her brothers (she swears)! Puffball would be a perfect addition to any home ready to spoil her and show her all the love in their hearts, because she will give it back tenfold! Truffle (M): Truffle is the class clown of the litter and he wears that title with pride! Our boy is always showing off his zoomies as he races after his brothers or drags a toy across the pen that dwarfs him in size. Truffle is a treasure hunter as well and is known to bring his foster mom an amusing collection of flower petals and twigs that he discovers in the garden. Truffle is a huge foodie who is always the first to the bowl at meal times, and once he finishes eating he’s tracking you in case you happen to drop a second meal on the floor for him to nicely clean up for you! Truffle delights everyone who meets him with his easy going temperament and love of attention. He prances the way only an adorable puppy who knows what a heartbreaker he is can! From the minute Truffle prances into your life, you can be prepared for the puppy of a lifetime!
The Mushroom puppies wake up around 7 AM and snuggle while their overnight pen is cleaned out. They eat three times a day: 8 AM, 1 PM, and 6 PM, enjoying a mix of wet food and kibble. After they eat, they start their daily cycle of playing, sleeping, eating, wrestling… and repeat! They love to cuddle in an adorable little pile during nap time and make adorable noises as they explore the world around them. They also get some one-on-one time each day to ensure they are gaining important socialization. At the end of the day, they head back into their pen for bed.
The Mushroom puppies have been well socialized with dogs in their foster home. They love meeting new people and thrive around people. Interested homes should be prepared to continue training and socialization to ensure they are fabulous adults.
