Dobby is just too cute, and a very sweet boy, too. He got lost on an adventure and wound up at the shelter on Jan. 2. Sadly, no one has come to claim him, so he is looking for a new home. Dobby is not just a pretty face, he's smart and eager to learn. He'll sit for treats. Dobby is just 6 months old and weighs 24 pounds; he'll likely be only 35 or 40 pounds as an adult. Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
