My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Oliver - part Australian Cattle Dog, part Poodle, and 100% heart-stealer. I'm the whole package of fluffy, fun, and fabulous! I'm as bubbly as they come, and my tail never stops wagging (seriously, it's basically a blur). Whether I'm zipping around the yard or cozied up next to you, I'm always ready to bring a little extra joy to your day. With my cattle dog brains and poodle good looks, I'm a quick learner and a total heart-stealer. If you're looking for a playful, loving pup with a whole lot of personality, I'm your guy. Let's meet - I'm ready to fetch way your heart!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
