My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet girl is called Maggie and she is an Australian. Shepherd collie, mix, that is five years old and weighs sixty pounds. She was fortunately taken from a very bad home situation that we won't go into. But yeah, the local animal control officer called it neglect an abuse and took her to the shelter too free her from the tragic conditions.  Everyone at the shelter, including the vet, has said. What a sweet spirit She has and always wears a smile.   She is wonderful with other dogs and with cats  Maggie  just wants some positive love and attention in her life.  She is in a small town Humane Society in East Tennessee and Critter Cavalry Rescue would love to place her in one of the best and most loving homes possible. She is housebroken, but we do not know about crate training.  She has an easy going, comfortable demeanor about her, and we feel she would be some family's greatest treasure in life. Maggie deserves a better life for the next ten plus years, as she hasn't had a great one, the first five. Please write to us at Ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  we transport northward from Tennessee, if you were interested, and we of course adopt Tennessee as well.   Let's make 2025 a great and momentous year for Maggie

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
