My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hayes, Hayes, Hayes….how do you describe such a special kitten? When Rockwall Pets received Hayes, she weighed 7 OUNCES and was covered in ringworm. Her fur was falling off, and even a small piece of her left ear fell off. Her immune system was almost non-existent. She had problems with diarrhea more than once and had two upper respiratory infections. So where is Hayes now? Now, she is a healthy petite 14 week old kitten. Now that her immune system is great and her body is catching up with her actual age. Specifically, she has had two growth spurts in the last two weeks. Her cute legs look too long for her body, but her body is filling out to match. Her fur is still growing back. Right now, it feels like a combination of fur and fuzz. Both looks are adorable. Hayes purrs 20 out of 24 hours a day. She prefers to spend a bunch of her time playing on her person’s chest, nibbling their chin and sometimes nibbling their earlobes! She loves to play with toys in her human’s lap and to play with her human one-on-one.  Hayes looks at her person with the sweetest eyes — like she can see straight into their soul and melt their heart. Her eyes are so mesmerizing, we recommend that you do not drive or operate heavy equipment for at least 30 minutes after holding her. She is the best kitten someone will ever have, and she will return that love full-fold. Hayes is current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative, and spayed. More about this rescue

Rockwall Pets is dedicated to saving every precious life possible. That’s why nearly every pet we offer for adoption was at risk of being put down at Dallas Animal Services. We believe in these pets, so we rescue them, give them full veterinary care and then place them into loving homes.

Thanks to the generosity of caring people like you, we led Rockwall to become one of the leading No Kill communities in America. Find out more about us at http://rockwallpets.com.
