Happy is a 1-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a heart as big as his name. Recently transferred from Fresno County, he’s still getting used to the sights and sounds of the big city. While he can be a bit environmentally sensitive as he navigates his new surroundings, his playful and loving nature shines through.

True to his name, Happy is a sweet and joyful pup who adores spending time with his people. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle time, or just hanging out, he’s ready to bring lots of love and happiness to his forever family.

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
