Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Our little Red understands the pain of being an introvert in an extrovert’s world! She’s a shy, reserved young lady, and while other cats will jump on your lap and beg for attention, or will meow at your feet until you feed them, or will dart around back-and-forth jumping all over your furniture and knocking things over, she will sit in her little cat-loaf, quiet as a monk, and contemplate the mysteries of life.
Deep down, she knows it’s rough out there for a shy, timid cat. But she’s still hoping – hoping! – that she won’t be overlooked, and that her perfect match is out there somewhere. And, if you look beneath the surface, you will find a bounty of desirable qualities! She is very clean and litter-trained with no accidents whatsoever at her foster home, she’s not picky about food and eats and drinks like a champ, and she’s very gentle, with absolutely no biting, snapping or scratching behaviour towards her handlers. And when left alone, she can be trusted to be a lady so that you find your home exactly how you left it. And once you let her decompress and get used to you, she will start to seek you out for company, and eventually for pets and cuddles! Like all introverts, she only lets her guard down with those she trusts.
Her perfect match would be someone looking for a low-key, medium-energy cat. She’d do well in a quiet environment, and will be quite happy living in smaller quarters. A bigger home is fine too – now that she’s decompressed, she’s started to happily explore her foster home with confidence and curiosity!
(The missing patches of fur on her belly and arm are from the spay surgery. They’ll grow back!)

Additional adoption info
Adoption fee is $225 per adult cat, and $300 for kittens (under 8 months old).
This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $225.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $175 per cat vs. $225 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
