My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rabbit is a very sweet and affectionate young girl that is looking for her forever home. She is approximately 2 years old.

Rabbit is spayed, heartworm tested and vaccinated.

Is this dog house trained? Expect to house train a newly adopted dog. Some dogs will pick it up faster than others. Successful house training largely depends on patience and consistent encouragement.

Most of the dogs that end up in shelters are mixed breeds that can have 2 to 10 different breeds in their DNA. The breed listed is only the best guess of the shelter volunteers.

More about this shelter

The Wyandotte Animal Adoption Center acts as the adoption facility for Downriver Central Animal Control. The intake facility (located in Southgate, MI) handles all intakes (strays, abandoned animals, court cases...). The adoption facility (located in Wyandotte, MI) brings the animals over (if adoptable) and have completed their requisite holds at the intake facility. This can sometimes take a few weeks if the adoption center is at capacity. The facilities handle approximately 500-700 animals per year.
OUR ADOPTION FACILITY IS RESCUE FRIENDLY.
If you are a foster for a recognized rescue and are interested in a particular animal, please email us at wacvolunteers@gmail.com!
