My name is Chive!

Meet Chive! He’s got his ears up, waiting to hear those special words…Happy gotchya day!

This incredibly sweet, smart, young man freed himself from a tie out just in time before the storm hit. His owner was found, but he (thankfully) didn’t want him back. Chive is SO happy to be in a home and has been incredibly snuggly to show his thanks. He is especially fond of forehead kisses.

Smart boy is already crate and potty trained, and has learned “sit”, “down”, “wait”, and is working on “off” for his excited jumping. He is very patient and will sit and wait for his food, his collar/harness for walks, and for his paws to be wiped off after a romp in the yard. He has been very gentle with elementary school age kids and is happy to make dog friends. He is working on his leash manners, but other than that he is the total package.
