Tate (7 years old) and Tucker (6 years old) are a bonded pair of German Shorthaired Pointers who recently lost their loving owner when she passed unexpectedly. These handsome boys are looking for a home together as we want to ensure they do not lose each other in what may be a confusing time for them. Tate and Tucker are wonderful, gentle dogs. They are dog friendly and could pair easily with other dogs near their size. They would also be best suited in a home with no cats or young children at this time. They are gentle, loving, and loyal despite recently having their world turned upside down.
Tate (orange collar) is the older of the two boys. He LOVES toys and when it comes to getting love and attention, he will lean on you all day! Tucker (green collar) has big floppy ears and appears to be slightly taller and larger than his brother. Tucker is easily frightened and scared of loud noises. He is on daily medication to make sure he feels as happy and as comfortable as can be despite being a bit scared of new things.
Tate and Tucker's adoption fee is $500 and includes their neuter, microchips, current vaccinations and prevention, plus a free basic obedience class at Cedar Run #2 in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires all adopters have a history of having kept indoor only pets that are altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives. If you are interested in meeting or adopting these lovely boys, please submit an adoption application on our website for consideration.
