Gidget is making her debut and this dazzling girl is the hit of the adoption scene! At just 8 months young, Gidget is a happy, lovable and playful girl who enjoys companionship with people and cat friends! Gidget can usually be found by your side or by her window bird watching and catching some sun. She loves to plop down right next to her people and adorably ask for scratches. She will do well in most homes, but one with another friendly kitty to keep her company or with someone who will give her all the love and attention she could dream of would be ideal! She is a very special girl, and we can't wait for her to find her equally special person! Did we mention she is a CATalyst cat? Two paws up for helping fellow felines in her community!

This kitten is eligible to go home five days after spay surgery, which is scheduled for January 15. The adopter will be responsible for providing an e-collar and monitoring the incision site for infection. Any post-surgical complications that arise post-adoption will be the responsibility of the adopter and should be addressed with the adopter's vet.

About Ten Lives:
Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.
Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!
All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Many times, these cats require extraordinary medical care and extensive stays in their foster homes before they are ready for adoption. But we don’t think time or money should ever get in the way of a cat receiving the care they deserve! To help us care for these cats, we have increased fees for other cats who are in high demand–such cats aid us in catalyzing change within our community. When you adopt a CATalyst cat, you aren’t just providing a forever home for them; you’re helping many other cats at Ten Lives, like our Forgotten Felines!

All potential adopters must fill out the Ten Lives adoption application, show proof of either home ownership or landlords approval, and current veterinary records for any resident animals. All approved adopters will be required to sign the Ten Lives adoption agreement.
