Meet Kali – A Sweet Senior Looking for a Fospice or Forever Home!
Kali is a gentle and loving senior girl (we think around 10) with a heart full of sweetness. She adores people and thrives on attention, making her the perfect lap cat companion. Though she’s done well around other cats, Kali mostly enjoys quiet moments to herself, making her ideal for a calm and peaceful home.
Kali has Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and needs a little extra care to keep her comfortable and healthy. Her routine includes:
- Subcutaneous fluids every few days
- Daily blood pressure pills
- Weekly B12 injections
- A prescription renal diet
Kali is incredibly cooperative and easy to medicate, making her care routine manageable.
Here’s the best part: the rescue will cover all of her medical expenses for life! That includes vet visits, medications, and her prescription diet.
Right now, Kali is isolated at the shelter due to her special care needs, and we’d love to see her in a home where she can spend her golden years showered with love and attention.
If you can open your heart and home to this special girl, please reach out. Let’s give Kali the amazing life she deserves!

Adopt a Cat Foundation, is a non-profit organization, committed to finding more loving and humane care options for the many homeless, injured and hungry cats and kittens that populate our county. Founded by 18-year recue veteran Inga Hanley, the foundation operates solely through donations,(which are tax deductible) and the assistance of small but dedicated volunteer force---which is always in need of more helping hands.
We provide the following services for the cats and kittens we rescue.
Humanely trap, spay/neuter and medicate as needed.
Provide temporary housing and care in one of two ways: in the shelter, or in one of our foster homes.
Evaluate their behavior and adoptability, adopt out the socialized ones to loving and hopefully permanent homes. Release the feral ones back to there committed colony caregiver who feeds them daily and monitors their welfare.
We also provide community service in other ways. Education on spay-neuter
programs to the public, schools and other non profit groups.
Education on care and handling of feline pets.
Participation in youth and school programs that offer credit for volunteer activities.
We do all this and more because we love them.
