My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dwayne!

Dwayne is a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs 18 pounds of pure love. Sweet, gentle, and full of charm, Dwayne is ready to find his forever home and become your new best friend.

Dwayne loves life’s simple pleasures; long walks where he can sniff to his heart’s content, car rides where he’s the perfect passenger, and snuggling up on the couch after a day of adventures. He’s also a big fan of belly scratches—they’re his absolute favorite!

This little guy is doing wonderfully with both crate and house training and gets along well with other dogs. His easygoing personality and love for companionship make him a perfect fit for just about any household.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate pup who will fill your days with cuddles and joy, Dwayne is the one for you!

If you are interested in adopting Dwayne please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
