Noel is a 10 week old Border Collie who can’t wait to bring the holiday season into the New Year! Noel was rescued from the shelter on Christmas Day by one of our amazing volunteers who took time away from family to help save lives. Noel arrived at our door needing some serious TLC and lucky for him we were ready to shower him in love. Noel will likely weigh around 30-40 pounds when he is fully grown. If you’ve loved the Border Collie breed you won’t find a better pup than our Noel!

Noel is a happy and curious puppy who can’t wait to take the world by storm with his humans! Noel is super smart and adores romping around his yard as he investigates all the smells and sounds of nature. He loves being cuddled and having his belly rubbed when he takes a minute of downtime… and then he’s ready to race around and play again! Noel loves his toys and is particularly enamored with anything that squeaks or he can toss to himself. Noel would be an amazing companion for a home who made a resolution to explore more of the outdoors in 2025. Just strap on his leash and let his legs zoom! Noel is super food motivated and just overall amazes us more each day with his charming personality and playful temperament. You’ll never want to say ‘no’ to anything Noel could dream of!

Noel wakes up and has breakfast around 6 AM, followed by a walk around his yard as he isn’t old enough for walks yet. During the morning, he alternates between playing with his toys and snoozing on one of his numerous dog beds. He has lunch at 12 AM and then goes for another romp followed by a snooze on the deck. Noel loves being with his humans during the day and is always down for playtime! In the evening, he has dinner and then lounges around until he heads into his pen for the night around 9 PM.

Noel has been introduced to dogs and is excited to play with them. He would love it if the resident cats would play with him. Interested homes should be prepared to continue his training and socialization to ensure he is a well-rounded adult pup. If you’ve been waiting for a unique pup with a heart of gold, you’ve met your match with Mr. Noel!

Noel is only an option for homes who have owned a dog of their own in the last 5 years. Kids should be over the age of 7.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
