My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Due to the detailed behavior issues, this animal is only available for foster/adoption through one of ACC's New Hope Partners. If you are interested in adopting or fostering, please fill out the pre-screener form. This animal is not directly available for adoption through ACC and is only available by completing the pre-screener form.Adoption inquiries sent directly to ACC will not receive a response.

Pre-Screener Form

Thio arrived to the QUACC as an owner surrender due to his previous owner moving and not being able to take Thio. Thio in care has been intensely fearful, growling at staff members and in attempts to interact with in in kennel, begins to lunge at a staff members. Thio is not acclimating despite best efforts to keep him comfortable, but his previous owners describe him as a social, high energy dog. As a result, we recommend he is placed with one of our New Hope Partners.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I have lived with dogs in my previous home.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together!

I don't always like to share my food, toys or bedding with other animals.
