My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Everest! Naturally timid, he needs an understanding home where patience is key. Adjusting to new surroundings takes time, but the rewards are immense for the right adopter.

Everest requires a quiet, private space, like a spare bedroom, where he can safely acclimate to the sounds and movements of your home at his own pace. He enjoys his solitude, often napping atop his cat tree or exploring at night. His favourites include Temptations Treats, playing with pens, bird watching from sunny windows, and darting through his
cherished play tube.

While Everest may hiss as a defensive response to sudden movements, he has never scratched or bitten anyone. Beneath his nervous exterior is a gentle soul. With the help of his foster mom, he now enjoys “side lap” snuggles and is working towards full lap
affection. He takes a small dose of anti-anxiety medication mixed into his meals.

Everest needs an adult-only home where he is the sole pet with a female as the main caregiver. This special cat deserves a loving adopter to help him thrive and discover the joys of human companionship. Could you be the hero he is waiting for?
