Meet Duggy, the lovable Golden Retriever!

Duggy is a sweet, playful, and energetic companion who thrives on attention and affection. This charming boy loves to learn and please, already mastering basic commands like "sit" for treats!

As a potty-trained pro, Duggy is ready to bring joy and excitement to his forever home. Ideally, we're looking for a family or individual within 50 miles of Malibu who can provide the love, attention, and exercise Duggy craves.

If you're ready to add a loyal and loving friend to your life, Duggy might be the perfect fit!

Submit Application

Fill out an online application at www.samsimonfoundation.org.

2.

Meet the Pet

Qualified applicants will be invited to our facility to meet the dog. Then they and we wait 24 hours to decide if it's a match.

3.

Home Check

We deliver the dog to your home for the final step in the process. A contract will be signed at that time.

Additional adoption info

An application must be filled out and screened by SSF. There is no fee. We do not accept donations. Privately funded by Mr. Sam Simon.

When we feel we have a match, we invite the applicant to our foundation in Malibu, CA to meet the dog or dogs.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit organization that rescues dogs from animal shelters with the goal of training them to be Hearing Dogs or Service Dogs for veterans with Post Traumatic Stress. Dogs that do not complete training are adopted as pets.
