My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colt might not be the biggest snuggle bug of the bunch, but he sure knows how to keep the fun rolling! He’s always ready to join his siblings on your lap for a quick cuddle, but don’t get too comfy—he’s more likely to jump right into the action and turn your lap into the next play zone!

When it comes to toys, Colt is all in! Whether it’s the cat wand, a bell-filled ball, or even a random sock (he’s not picky), Colt is on the move, racing and pouncing with the best of them. His energy is endless, and his antics will have you laughing every day! He’s a playful powerhouse who loves running around and exploring—especially when there are curtains to climb! (Yes, he’s a fan of the soft fabric, and no, it’s not safe from his little paws!)

Colt’s got a soft side, though! He’s the one most likely to perch on your shoulder during cuddle time, soaking up the love while sneakily eyeing your hair (he’s curious, but don’t worry, he’s not a hair biter!). When it’s time to rest, he’s happy to relax with his siblings, but he’s always ready to jump back into action, whether it’s a chase or a little lap time.

This energetic guy would do best in a home where playtime is a priority—either with humans who love to keep up with his active pace or another playful cat who can match his fun-loving spirit! Colt is ready to bring his adventurous energy and silly charm to his forever home—are you ready for the ride? 😺🎉

Adopting from HEA

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS:
Adoption is a huge deal to us. We make a lifetime guarantee to our companions. In return, we’re asking you to provide a lifetime commitment once you’ve invited a pet to join your family. We’re excited that you're considering adoption. We look forward to working with you to find the right match!

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:
1) Fill out your application completely - missing information slows down the process.
2) Let your references know to expect our call.
3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:
We make a pact with every animal that enters our care: They’re promised a loving home for the rest of their life. In turn, when you make the commitment to adopt, we ask you to make a lifetime commitment. We believe family is forever.
