Hi everyone, I am Dexter and delighted to meet you! Here's some information about me:
Age: 3 years
Breed: Pointer mix (poodle or terrier)
Weight: 50 lbs
Gender: Male

Note that I am part of a bonded pair (see Ivy). I am by no means an alpha male, having been surroudned my females all my life and honestly, I like it that way. Ivy has been an amazing older sister/ mentor for me and I just like to be close to her and doing whatever she is doing - she seems to have it all together! Food is my most favourite thing and you can totally bribe me with a tasty treat. I enjoy the company of other dogs a bit more than Ivy and can be conviced to play, especially if I get the sense that they might become part of the pack.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, our owner has to move in February and will not be able to take us with her, so were a looking for our new forever family. Ideally we would need to go together - I wouldn't know what I would do with out Ivy. I'd certainly feel lost without her.

I am neutered, vaccinated and house trained.

An adoption fee of $100 applies.

As adopters of overseas dogs will be taking their dog home from the airport, they have a couple of weeks to decide if the dog is a fit.

Additional adoption info

We offer a foster to adopt program for adopters of overseas dogs. As they will be taking their dog home straight from the airport, they have a couple of weeks to decide if the dog is a fit. In the rare times the dog isn’t found suitable we will find the dog another home.

Loved At Last Dog Rescue operates in the Greater Vancouver area. We rescue and rehome local dogs as well as homeless dogs from numerous countries around the world, including Mexico, Korea, China, Iran, Kuwait, Bahrain and India. Many of these dogs have experienced hardship and cruelty yet they are gentle and loving. We have found that dogs who have experienced suffering appreciate every kindness shown them. All our dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped and those over 6 months are spayed or neutered.
