Everyone welcome Denney!! Denney is an 7 pound, 6-year-old male Chihuahua that was rescued from the San Bernardino Animal Shelter on his last day. Denney is a low-key, low energy boy whose favorite pastime is being with his person. He has been in professional training (due to fears of being on a leash) and is doing amazing. What would his perfect home look like? Well, he is not really into other dogs (does not interact or play but he would get along with another low-key dog) so a home without other dogs would be his preference. A home with a retired person/couple would be ideal as he is a dog that just wants his people. He would not require daily walks as he would prefer just to be home. Even though he is only 6 years old, he is an old soul. A home without children would be best for Denney. If you are retired and interested in adopting Denney, his adoption fee would be covered under our senior-to-senior program (no cost). Denney has been neutered, received a dental, is up to date on his vaccinations and is microchipped. Since Denney is training, the trainer will be available for any additional help after adoption at no charge. We will call if we feel you are a fit for one of our adoptable pets. Once confirmed, we will set up a meet and greet with the pet.

Home Check

We will visit your home to see the environment where the dog will live and answer your questions.

Additional adoption info

Additional Information:

If applicable, we'll call your veterinarian to ensure that previous pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and well cared for.

For renters, we'll check with your landlord to ensure that dogs are permitted and that the dog that you're adopting wouldn't violate any size or breed restrictions.

Adoption fees are generally between $300-$450 depending on which pup you are adopting.

Leashes of Love Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from local high-kill shelters in Southern California and owners who can no longer care for them.
