Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ælfthryth, or Elfie for short. This 3 year old, 60 lb English Bulldog came to us and was immediately rushed into surgery for a pyometra, or infected uterus. She's doing much better now and is ready for her forever home! She wants to be right beside you at all times and will cuddle with her head in your lap or on your shoulder. She is still nervous with the world, but learning and gets so excited, wiggling for joy when you are around! She would do great in a home with another dog so she won't feel lonely.

If we find a good match for you, you can pay the adoption fee, sign the contract, and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

Adopters fill out a no-obligation contract. If approved, they will fill out a contract for the animal. Adoption fees are $200 per dog ($250 for puppies 6 months and younger) and $60 for cats ($100 for kittens), which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip registration, deworming medications, heartworm and flea preventative.

This is a small, foster based rescue run by volunteers. Please be patient as it may take a few days to approve your application.
