My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When my owner passed away the rescue was contacted to help me find a new loving home. I am totally blind but like to go for walks. Pug Pace Only! I am happy to wear a dapper coat outside to stay warm and toasty. My foster mom used to have a blind pug so she's helping me feel safe. Right now I'm enjoying feeling warm and loved next to the cozy wood stove and getting some extra meals because I'm a bit underweight. I also always potty outside and have had zero accidents! I enjoy eating but I'm scheduled for a dental cleaning in January because my teeth are very bad and I'm missing a bunch. Once I get that done I'm sure I'll feel even better. I'm mostly toddling around the house and yard and keeping the young pugs out of my face. I will require eye drops or ointment every day to be kept comfortable as I do not have normal tear production. I really love those drops making my eyes more comfortable and I'm a very good boy when they're being administered. I'm a big boy at nearly 30# but it's just more to love. ! LOL!! I have a very sweet personality and wag my tail when I hear your voice. I will also toddle to find you and give you a gentle touch with my paw or nose so you know I'm there. Because I'm an older gentleman I'd appreciate a quiet retirement home without too much activity. I'm very happy to go on walks and am getting my steps in! I'm kind of a couch potato and really like to listen to the activity around me. I will bark a little if the other doggies are really wound up but I'm just an excellent puggy! Put in an application and my foster mom will call you and tell you all about what a Good Boy I am.

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in adopting from Church of Pug.
Everyone at Church of Pug is a volunteer. We wear many hats - we foster pugs, travel to vet appointments, attend fundraising events, process a lot of paperwork, and more. We make every effort to respond to inquiries in a timely manner but often the days get away from us. For this reason, we will do our best to reach out to everyone. We’ll let you know your application has been received either through a phone call, text or email.
PLEASE take your time completing the below application and fill out questions in detail! This is the information our adoption team will use to make initial determinations when selecting applicants to proceed in the interview process as dogs become available and we begin the process of finding its forever family.

READ the information on each dog's biography page carefully. If you are interested in applying to adopt a dog, please ensure you meet the stated requirements. All of these dogs live with our foster families and that means we know their story -- we understand what they have been through and what they need in a forever home. All decisions are made with the dogs' best interests in mind.
