I recently rescued the beautiful boy from the wake county animal shelter, with no information about his past. He was food deprived so I have been working with him on his eating slowly, I have two other dogs that he has become playful with, I have tried to introduce him to our cat's but unfortunately his aggression was off the charts. I am truly heartbroken that he doesn't like cats since I grew up with German shepherds. He is very smart,he knows sit, stay and knows how to give paw, I have been also working with him on his anxiety with being separated from me. I really don't want to return him to the shelter he deserves a wonderful home with no cats.

Thank you for considering adopting a GSRA dog. We love that you are exploring rescuing a GSD. We firmly believe that the adoption of a dog is not one to be taken lightly. Because of this belief, our adoption process is what some would described as lengthy and can be emotional.
