My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello 👋🏻 World, let me introduce myself! My name is Oreo and I am a 1 year old, 8lb Chihuahua Rat Terrier mix boy - the best kind of mix! 😉 My previous owners left me behind when they moved. I was sad and confused but it has turned out to be the best thing for me. I landed with the lovely people at FCCR who promised to find me a perfect and forever new home.
Despite what has happened in my short life, I am super friendly and love to be with my humans and enjoy meeting other dogs (I am not sure about cats). I have great house manners and love car rides. I am still a puppy so I have what my foster mommy calls “puppy energy.” I’m not sure what she means but it's not a bad thing because I make her smile all the time. I love to go on walks and run around the yard and am just as happy as can be. I am ready to join you on your adventures whether they be errand-running or traveling the world!

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
