My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tyler - Female DOB 9/17/2020 Domestic Short Hair Dilute Calico -  Meet Tyler!

Tyler is a sweet and gentle dilute calico with a heart full of love to give. This beautiful girl adores rolling over for belly rubs and head scratches and is always eager to be close to her person. After being surrendered back to us back in July, Tyler was understandably scared and stressed, often hissing at other cats.  Her home environment got stressful for her where she started to not get along with the other cat in the home where she decided she wanted to get all of the attention and be an only cat for someone where she can get all of their love and attention for herself.  Then she was just recently surrendered to us again, for being "too high energy and active and exploring, and not wanting to be held" for the couple.  Tyler was just being like any other curious cat who likes to play and explore and be loved.  Tyler will jump on counters at times where she was used to being able to jump on whatever she wanted to at the rescue including the counter.  She also likes to chew on plastic bags and some cords, so please be aware to keep them away from her.

So now once again, Tyler is back at the rescue having to settle in once again with other cats that she doesn't like.  With a bit of time and patience, she’s started to relax and enjoy her surroundings.  Tyler is a sweet and active kitty who needs lots of attention, and loves to cuddle and sit on laps.

Tyler enjoys playing with feather wands and chasing laser lights but is just as content lounging in a sunny window, watching the world go by. Tyler would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can be the center of attention. She prefers a dog-free environment, would do best with no children, and would be happiest as your one and only cat.

If you’re looking for a devoted and affectionate companion who will shower you with love, Tyler might just be the perfect match for you.
