Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Sulu is a handsome one-year old male Tuxedo kitty who was fending for himself in the Marietta Ohio area and depending upon the kindness of good people in the neighborhood. Fortunately for Sulu, he befriended one of those Good Samaritans who took him in and provided a temporary foster home for Sulu until he could find a home of his very own.
This adorable young man has a black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, a long tail, and a beautiful face with golden eyes, a white stripe on his forehead, a pink nose, a white muzzle, and extra-long white whiskers.
His foster mother provided this information about Sulu:
"Sulu is a very quiet but affectionate boy. He loves to be petted and is easily picked up. Sulu enjoys looking out the window from a perch. He occasionally get stressed out and, when that happens, he is caged with his bedding which has been misted with a calming spray (such as Feliway). Sulu may seem anxious going by a door, wanting to go outdoors. He has been litterbox trained."
Sulu has a good appetite and enjoys canned/wet food (Fancy Feast or Friskies) and dry kibble (Purina One or Purina Naturals).
Sulu was combo tested on November 15, 2024 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. He was neutered on November 25, 2024.
Sulu has been dewormed and has had monthly flea treatment (Advantage Multi). He is up-to-date with all vaccines including boosters and rabies vaccine.
This little lovebug currently weighs 8.8 lbs.
These photos of Sulu were taken on January 4, 2025. Sulu has a sweet, rather shy, personality and was a little in awe of the paparazzi, but he loved snuggling up in the photographer's arms and being petted/loved upon.
His foster mother brought Sulu to HSOV on January 4, 2025 along with three of his companions who were also sharing his home (Ariel, Sox aka Socrates, and Spock).
Sulu is currently sharing a double-wide cage with Ariel (a beautiful spayed female black/white Tuxedo) in our Jungle Room. Sulu and Ariel are nearly identical twins except for the markings on their muzzles.
Sulu seems to depend upon Ariel for comfort/security, so naturally they would love to find a home together.
