Are you in search of a personal, toddler-sized kolache? Look no further!
Meet Dilly, the 38 lb, 7 year old sausage roll of a Frenchie who is ready to find his forever home!
Dilly came to our rescue after his owner passed away suddenly. He faced several health challenges that we've worked through - skin issues, wounds on his hind end, ear infections, and overgrown nails cutting into his foot pads. During his time with us, his foster family has been working to build his trust in new people, teach good manners, and learn kennel training. However he can be a little stubborn (typical bulldog)!
He enjoys playing tug-of-war, cuddling, riding in the car, playing outside, and following his human everywhere. He is good with other dogs but we're unsure how he may be with cats. He LOVES his food and does best eating in his kennel away from other dog friends as he can be protective of his food and treats. Because this is something he is still working on, he would do best in a home without young children (likely best with ages 12+).
He isn't a fan of the vet office, having his front paws touched or his comfort zones pushed too quickly. He needs a person or family that will give him the time, space, and patience he needs to adjust and blossom in his forever home. He does take one prescription, Apoquel, to help with his skin allergies.
We know a Frenchie loving person or family is out there that is ready to give Dilly the home he deserves! You can send inquiries to our adoption team at muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com or apply to meet / adopt at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application
Dilly is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue whose mission is to help unwanted animals in situations that could lead to harm or euthanasia. We primarily focus on animals with major medical illnesses, injuries or advanced age that are often overlooked and usually the first to be at risk of euthanasia. By partnering with shelters and the public, we promote responsible pet ownership, spay and neuter, and the adoption of special needs pets. It is our goal to save the un-savable!
