My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Portland, she loves to play and explore.
She is a rescue, but mom has strong Maine Coon traits & it looks like Portland will have them too: fur between toes, a mane that accentuates her face, fluff ears, etc.
She has gorgeous tiger/callico markings with a big bushy ringtail!
Portland is well socialized with people and other cats and is housetrained. She is spayed, FIV & F-leuk negative, and has had an initial round of vaccines (incl. rabies), so the cost of bringing into your home is minimal. Because we used grant-funded resources for spaying, she is ear-tipped.
Portland likes to be around people and may follow you as you go about, but she is finicky about affection, preferring human company rather than snuggles. She loves to look out the window & play games. She would be a perfect solo apartment cat.

She has been spending time in our foster home with one of her littermate brothers, Boggie, with whom she snuggles and romps. We will donate the $50 fee to our local shelter.
