My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Liv is a stunning 4-year-old Norwegian Elkhound who is now ready for her forever home after spending her life in an outdoor kennel. While she’s always had plenty of food and shelter, her interactions with people have been limited mostly to being provided basic care.  Liv is a gentle soul who loves the company of other puppies and gets along wonderfully with her kennel mates.

Though Liv may seem shy when you first meet her, with time, patience, and a little encouragement, she’ll warm up and show her affectionate side. She is a sweet, loyal girl at heart, and once she feels comfortable, her personality truly shines through.

Liv will thrive in a home that’s willing to give her the time and space to adjust. She will also need a proper diet and exercise plan, as she has had access to food but not enough activity. With a little attention to her health, Liv will be able to fully embrace a more active and enriched life, filled with the love and care she deserves.

If you're looking for a sweet, calm companion and are ready to help her get healthy and adjust to her new life, Liv may be the perfect addition to your family!  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue  at ccrnewengland@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
